The powered technique portion is concentrated on the tail fading into the arch and body of the brows and also blends in between the hair strokes creating a flawless transition.

The best candidate for this technique are those who have oilier skin, those who lack hair in the arch or tail area of the brow, or those who desire the look of both hair strokes and the powdered look. This technique also works for clients who have no hair, which would provide a more natural look.

This permanent makeup technique mimics the appearance of powdered eyebrow make-up, giving a more “make-up” look. The technique is performed using tiny mechanized needles that deposits high-quality vegan pigments into the first layer of the skin creating a pixelated look which builds layers of color that will give the “powdered” look. Essentially, the tails of the brows are darker and fade to a softer color toward the front of the brows, providing a subtle and soft powdered look.

how many sessions will I need?

For most clients, a minimum of two treatments are usually needed, at least 6 weeks apart. With most procedures, the color looks dramatically lighter after the first week. Some clients prefer this, while others opt for a bolder look. At the second session, we will assess the color retention and make adjustments as necessary. Everyone heals differently and at different rates. If your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly after the first session, do not worry! We can always go darker and add more density at your next appointment.

Additional appointments will be charged according to our current price list. Your second session, if needed, may be scheduled no sooner than 8 weeks following your first session, although later is better. We must give your skin ample time to fully heal and regenerate before tattooing it again. Refresher appointments are generally required every 1-2 years.

what if i've had previous work done?

If you have had your brows previously tattooed, we cannot guarantee results for cases such as these. In some instances where the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be highly recommended before our services will be considered.

Previously tattooed areas will almost always require additional sessions and will be charged accordingly. Some special cases may be considered. Photos are required prior to your appointment for approval. Please text 805-231-7015 a photo of your previous tattoos. If you show up to your appointment without prior approval for the appointment, you will forfeit your deposit.

what to expect?

Immediately following your procedure, the tattooed area will appear to be darker and bolder in color and more sharply defined. This can last up to a week after the treatment while the initial healing process takes place. The treated area may feel a bit like sunburn afterwards, but there should be minimal discomfort.

During the initial healing period, there should be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is some scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own. The complete healing process takes about 6-8 weeks, at which time the true color of the tattoo is evident. During this process, your tattoo will soften and lighten. Be patient, even if you think too much color has been lost, as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating. Wait at least 6-weeks to see the true color, as it seems to take on new strength, and it is only after 6-8 weeks that your touch-up/adjustment can be done.
